Hi! My name is Jules, and welcome to my blog! I've never blogged before so bear with me. I love writing in general. Songs, essays, posts, devotionals, you name it. I know, I'm weird. You may be wondering what this blog will entail. And the short answer to that is everything. I do love traveling so that will be a large part of this. However, I also will just write whatever I'm feeling in the moment. Whether I learned something cool or open up about some things I've gone through, whether I give you some big sister advice or write about a really cool recipe or restaurant I found, we're just gonna play it by ear. This should be fun. I'm excited. Are you excited?
Well first of all, I figured I should properly introduce myself. I'm Jules, short for Julianna. My older sister actually named me, fun fact. I am 19 years old and a student at Florida State University majoring in Hospitality & Tourism Management. I'm leaning towards going into events, but I'm not sure yet. I'm still figuring that out as I go. I studied abroad this past summer in Montreux, Switzerland, and it was such an amazing experience. That is what partially inspired me to make this. I saw a lot of cool stuff that I want to write about, so you may find this helpful especially if you find yourself making a trip to Europe anytime soon. I may be able to help with a few European travel tips from my time of 5 weeks there. I saw most of Switzerland, and parts of Italy, Germany, France, Austria, Monaco, and Spain. This was a trip of a lifetime, some might say. I can't wait for the day I can go back.
Anyway, I was born and raised in Destin, FL and we moved when I was in 3rd grade to a town close by called Niceville. Yes, it's actually called that, and no, not everyone is nice there. I love Jesus with all my heart and lead worship at Experience Church in Tallahassee. You may see a few devotional-style blogs on here from time to time. As I mentioned earlier, I love to write them. I also love music. I was a chorus kid in middle and high school if that tells you anything. I write lots of songs in my free time even to this day. I'm sure there will be a blog post somewhere in the future on my love of songwriting. Another fun fact- I love animals, but especially dogs. I am a dog person through and through. I was born and raised with them. I think I want a golden retriever as my first own dog after I graduate, but we'll see. Well obviously this isn't everything about me, but I feel like I left you with the basics, and we'll dive into the deeper stuff later.
